Many nonprofits, workforce programs, and community partners rely on federal hiring incentives to encourage employers to hire individuals from historically marginalized or economically vulnerable groups. Two major programs:

• The Employee Retention Credit (ERC)

• The Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC)

have now ended, and the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBB) did

 not create any replacement.
